The Faculty & Staff Mini-Grant Program is designed to support innovative, student-centered projects that align with Nashville State Community College’s priorities. This process ensures grant proposals receive proper support before submission and adhere to the institutional policies of NSCC and TBR.

​Who Can Apply?

Any full-time NSCC employee.

Grant Guidelines

To make the biggest impact, we encourage proposals that are innovative, thoughtful, and designed to serve a wide range of students.

Grant Funds May Not Be Used For:

  • Professional development

  • Salaries or stipends (Exceptions for non-employees and non-students may be considered with proper justification)

  • Marketing or promotional items (e.g., T-shirts, pens)

  • Travel

  • Cash or Gift Cards (Exceptions for gift cards for non-employees and non-students may be considered with proper justification.)

Application & Award Procedures

  1. The request period is on-going during the academic year. The Foundation will only accept submissions via the online form, no exceptions.
  2. The Faculty & Staff Mini-Grant team will review all requests for funding. 
  3. You will be notified individually once your proposal has been reviewed for consideration.

  4. The Foundation team will schedule a photo-op and grant announcement.
